Meemo, is a newly invented Spanish-style tapas sports bar and restaurant. Meemo unveils a newly designed 6,000 square foot space, which has 180 seats throughout the restaurant. The space features four different areas in one including the main dining room, bar area, lounge and side dining room, perfect for any occasion. Meemo is comprised of thirty-five HD televisions along with new amenities, food and beverage program, catering and interior renovations. These elements combine to create a space that proves to be the perfect one-of-a-kind Spanish tapas destination at one of the biggest sports bar in NYC.
Roberto Alvarez has come on as Chef with twelve years’ experience at numerous prestigious New York City Spanish cuisine hotspots, such as the reputable Pipa in Gramercy, incorporating his Spanish style cooking into the menu. The menu at Meemo includes mouth-watering signature menu items such as Crab Meat Flat Bread featuring manchego cheese and diced jalapeños, Tilapia Tacos topped with a chipotle sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo, Seared Scallops paired with sautéed spinach, onion puree, crispy Serrano ham and fried plantain, and Skirt Steak featuring delectable Spanish wild rice, mixed vegetables, and topped with a chimichurri sauce.
The sports bar has a top notch beverage program lined up featuring nine specialty hand-crafted cocktails such as the Meemo Colada mixed together with passion fruit, cream of coconut and Myers rum or the Frozen Mango Mojito complete with white rum, mango puree, lime and a touch of fresh mint. Both red & white sangria as well as a full range of International beers on tap will be available throughout the venue. Happy Hour commences Monday through Friday from 12:00PM to 8:00PM featuring specials such as $5.00 well drinks and $3.00, $5.00 & $7.00 Bud lights, Coors and the specialty Meemo Ale.
A very exciting brunch program takes place on Saturdays and Sundays featuring an all-you-can-drink bottomless brunch from 12:00PM to 4:00PM. The brunch includes an entrée item of choice along with endless bloody mary’s, mimosas, Bud Light and Coors Light.
